IGCSE stands for International General Certificate of Secondary Education. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for further academic studies, as well as for employment and real-life situations. The IGCSE curriculum is offered by the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) board, which is part of the University of Cambridge.
Students have to take a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 14 subjects. The grading system varies from A* to G with A* being the best score.
