About PSAT
The PSAT (Preliminary SAT) is a standardized test that serves as both practice for the SAT and a qualifier for the National Merit Scholarship in the U.S. It evaluates students' skills in reading, writing, and mathematics, helping them gauge college readiness. PSAT English
The PSAT English section assesses critical reading, writing, and language skills that lay the foundation for future SAT success and college readiness.
Reading
Passage Types: Literature, historical documents, social studies, and science-based articles.
Skills Assessed: Comprehension, interpretation, and analysis of texts.
Writing and Language
