Taking Advanced Placement (AP) exams is one of the most effective ways for high school students in India to demonstrate academic rigor, earn college credit, and boost their applications to top universities in the US, UK, Canada, and worldwide.
However, since not all schools in India offer AP courses internally, many students register as external candidates at authorized test centers. Navigating where and how to take these exams can feel overwhelming, so we have compiled a complete nationwide center directory and step-by-step guide to help you plan ahead.
Important Subject Availability & Seat Notice: Not every test center offers all 38 AP subjects, and seat availability for external/non-school candidates varies by location. Always verify specific subject offerings and active test center status directly on the official College Board International AP India Portal before registering.
